Waco, TX: Joanna Gaines, partners raise over $1 million for Texas Hill Country

Joanna Gaines and partners raised over $1 million and donated supplies to support Texas Hill Country families impacted by recent flooding and severe weather.

WACO, Texas — Joanna Gaines and her partners have raised more than $1 million to support recovery efforts in the Texas Hill Country, she announced this week.

Gaines shared her gratitude in a social media post, thanking major partners including Target, Loloi Rugs, United Talent Agency, UBS, Comerica Bank, JPMorgan Chase and the John and Julie Schmidt Family Foundation for their contributions.

Crate and Barrel and Ariat also pitched in, donating blankets and boots for families in need. Gaines said community donations collected at the Silos in Waco helped send truckloads of essential supplies to the Salvation Army for distribution across the region.

“We couldn’t be more thankful for the way our partners, friends, and community have rallied around our neighbors in need,” Gaines said.

The funds and supplies will aid families recovering from recent hardships in the Hill Country, where flooding and severe weather have impacted many communities.
