HPD: Man robbed woman in wheelchair at ATM

Houston police are looking for a man accused of robbing a woman in a wheelchair at gunpoint at an ATM.

HOUSTON — The Houston Police Department is looking for a man they said robbed a woman in a wheelchair at gunpoint while she was at an ATM.

The robbery happened on July 10 shortly after midnight. Police said the victim rode up to an ATM on Antoine Drive near Pinemont Drive to withdraw cash before a man walked up and pointed a gun at her, demanding money.

HPD said the man reached over the woman and grabbed the money she had taken out of the ATM before he got on a bike and rode off.

Police described the man as being 20 to 30 years old. He was wearing a green t-shirt with camo pants and a wide-brimmed trucker hat.
