With Trump’s budget bill shaping up to be a key issue in the 2026 midterms, the Democratic National Committee has launched TrumpTax.com, an interactive website that spells out the economic consequences of the legislation and the president’s “erratic tariff policies” for everyday Texans. The Trump budget will cost Texas households more than $1,600 while serving up deep tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans, according to the site’s calculations.
