The 15-year-old was shot and killed the morning of April 19 in southern Dallas, according to police.
The Dallas Police Department (DPD) said officers responded at approximately 1:50 a.m. that day to the 3900 block of East Overton Road for a shooting call. When officers got to the scene, they found a 15-year-old had been shot, according to DPD. The teen was taken to a local hospital, where he died, DPD said.
Dallas police said they would not release the teen’s identity due to his age.
Just under three months later, Dallas PD said the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested Mysiah Clark, 18, in connection with the case. Dallas County Jail records show Clark was charged with murder, with his bond set at $100,000.
