Gov. Greg Abbott to provide update on Hill Country floods, tour northern areas impacted

Officials are touring damage in Travis County after the July 4 floods, and is expected to provide an update at 3 p.m.

LEANDER, Texas – Gov. Greg Abbott is meeting with first responders in Leander today, one week after the Hill Country floods devastated central Texas.

Following the meeting, Abbott will be providing an update on the state’s response to the flooding around 3 p.m.
