A former tech office will be used to support the expansion of the University of Texas at Dallas.
UT Dallas plans to purchase the 151,000-square-foot building at 17787 Waterview Pkwy. in Dallas, which was once an office for the technology development firm Concentrix. The company vacated the property in late 2024 after its lease expired.
Prior to moving in, UT Dallas aims to renovate the property to support its needs. The initial renovation will include the replacement of HVAC and other outdated building systems, a representative at the university said in a July 9 email.
However, it is too early to tell how the building will be used in regards to programming and academics. Built in 1994, the five-story building features 477 parking spaces.
