Concert in Austin Sunday to benefit Kerr County Flood Relief Fund

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A concert happening in Austin Sunday is being put on to benefit people impacted by flooding that wrecked parts of Central Texas over the weekend.

“For the Heart of Texas: A Benefit for the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund” will be held the afternoon of Sunday, July 13, at the Long Center. All proceeds will go directly to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, according to the Long Center’s website.

Tickets are already on sale online. They’re “pay what you want,” starting at $10.

The concert will feature more than 15 artists, relief resources, food trucks and more to gather donations for those affected by the recent floods.

The show will take place inside Dell Hall at the Long Center. Doors will open at 4 p.m. and the show will start at 5.
