Friends and family members are a remembering a University of Texas at San Antonio professor who died in the deadly Texas floods over the weekend as a “kind” and “giving woman” who dedicated her life to caring for others. Katheryn Eads, 52, lost her life on July Fourth in the devastating flash floods while camping on the Guadalupe River with her husband Brian.
