Floods cause significant damage to area roads

KXAN (Austin, TX) – Multiple roadways in Central Texas have sustained significant damage from flooding during the 4th of July holiday weekend.

Emergency officials continue to urge drivers to use extreme caution when driving, particularly in more rural parts of the area near bodies of water, as rain continues to fall.

The extensive list of roadways impacted by flooding can be found at Drive Texas, but here are a few we would like to report on as of Sunday, July 6.
