DALLAS — Cedar Hill police are investigating the fatal shooting of a suspect following a pursuit that ended in Dallas Thursday afternoon, sources tell WFAA.
Police sources report that the incident began as a chase with Cedar Hill PD and ended at the intersection of Town Creek Drive and Glen Oaks Boulevard in Dallas. That prompted Dallas Police to assist with the investigation.
WFAA chopper 8 was flying above the scene and captured several police cars, a damaged U-Haul truck, and a black pickup truck parked in the middle of a grassy area.
Sources tell WFAA that no Cedar Hill police officers were injured in the shooting. The suspect was confirmed dead at the scene, sources said.
It’s unclear what prompted the chase.
