AUSTIN COUNTY, Texas — A local developer is venturing far west with the development of a residential community near Sealy in Austin County.

League City-based Windy Hill Development, in partnership with Houston-based Connor Investment Real Estate, has acquired 300 acres northwest of Sealy for up to 1,300 homes, said Randy Hall, who founded the company with his wife, Rachael Hall.

Hall expects to deliver lots in the next 18 months.
