Police are investigating after a person was shot and killed near Dallas’ Bishop Arts District, officials said.
DALLAS — A man died Wednesday after he was shot by an unknown suspect near the Bishop Arts District, police said.
Officers responded around 1:20 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, in the 300 block of East 8th Street, the Dallas Police Department said in a press release.
Investigators found that an unidentified person was shot by an unknown suspect, and the suspect left the scene before officers arrived, the release states.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where they died, police said.
Police are investigating the incident.
